The tree of life is a symbol of a fresh start on life, positive energy, good health and a bright future. As a symbol of immortality. A tree grows old, yet it bears seeds that contain its very essence and in this way, the tree becomes immortal. As a symbol of growth and strength.
This shoot was a tribute to Vaughn Bode. His characters, backgrounds and styles influenced generations of graffiti artists. His characters, Cheech The Wizard and The Lizard were legendary comics in the 70’s. We added the models name in graffiti on her leg to pull it together.
This body paint shoot was inspired by lava lamps. The fluidity goes so well with the body. We tried to mimic the colors intermixing. Elizabeth was a great model and killed the poses. Greg pulled it all together with the photos.
I did this body painting shoot as a nod to my favorite team the Oakland Raiders and the Local Team the Philadelphia Eagles! I also needed more Jerseys and painted clothes in my portfolio.
I originally developed the concept for Artworks Monsters Ball 2016. But I was unable to get a model for the event so I shelved the idea until October 2017. I love doing these dark Halloween body paints. Really pleased with the result!
With Halloween coming up, I realized I don’t have a lot of Halloween inspired body paint work. So I called up Gregory Maxx and set up a shoot. The shoot was done actually in 2 separate shoots with Kelsey Morse she is the green ghoul as well as the skeleton with the blue corset. Jennifer Day was added as the second skeleton chick. I brought along my friend Luis to help out. Great shoot! Everyone rocked! Greg killed the pictures and edits.
This shoot was inspired by my Dynamic Abstract series. I showed up early to the shoot and talked with Greg, gave him a few concept ideas. He told me to do what I feel. This reminded me of this series of paintings that I am working on called “Dynamic Abstract” it is a style that ties cityscapes and brightly colored patterns and designs. the finished results looks like the models walked out of one of my paintings. Great job by models De’Shaun Lanieaaa and Shalie.
We wanted to create a full body metallic body paint. We painted and shot in stages so that we had two different looks one with brush stroked calligraphic designs and another that was a solid metallic color. The shoot came out amazing. Hats off to photographer Gregory Maxx and models Jackie and Nye’ Marie.
In this body paint shoot I used design elements spikes, horns, and skulls to give the shoot a dark feeling.Used shadows to make the elements float on the skin. I really like the colored lighting, smoke and lighting that Greg used to make the pictures look amazing. Sakina was a pleasure to work with and killed her poses.
In this body paint shoot I used design elements like circles and lines. I added some grunge effects, blends and drips. I used a primarily warm palette with greys to offset them and added some metallics for pop. I also experimented with masking and removing areas of paint to create designs. I really like the colored sheer fabric, smoke and lighting that Greg used to make the pictures look amazing. Andi was a pleasure to work with and killed her poses.
